Sex Offender Registry Managed by Scott County Sheriff's Office found to be "As Good as it Gets!"

Scott County-On 5-17-2023, Eric Garceau of the Indiana State Police Criminal Justice Data Division, inspected the Sex Offender Registry managed by Scott County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) Chief Operations Officer Patti Combs. The Criminal Justice Data Division is charged with overseeing the computer NCIC/IDACS entries statewide. Mr. Garceau meticulously examined the program led by Combs and in his subsequent assessment, Garceau reported the SCSO Sex Offender Registry entries he checked were free of any errors and further, Mr. Garceau advised Ms. Combs went above and beyond to ensure the SCSO registry was accurate and well organized.

Sheriff Goodin advised the following... "The entire county should once again be proud of the recognition extended by the State Police after the inspection of the sex offender registry. Again, the Scott County Sheriff's Office shows how the organization has professionalized in the last couple of years, setting a "gold standard" for other sheriff's offices to emulate.  Thank you, Patti Combs, for your thorough attention to detail in the management of this extremely important program.
