AGAIN...Scott County Sheriff's Deputy Arrests another Drug Dealer in Possession of Large Quantity of Methamphetamine and Other Controlled Substances...K-9 Zeus Sealed the Deal!

Scott County-On 5-11-2023 at approximately 10:45pm, Scott County Sheriff's Deputy Donavan McCutcheon stopped a vehicle near the intersection of York Road and Boatman Road in western Scott County for a traffic violation. The driver, identified as Tammy Kay Allen, 51, Scottsburg, Indiana was arrested for multiple drug violations after Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Charlie Morgan and his partner K-9 Zeus responded to the scene. K-9 Zeus, a narcotic certified K-9, alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle, which were discovered and secured after Deputy McCutcheon performed a probable cause search of the vehicle, ultimately resulting in Allen being placed under arrest. Methamphetamine (more than 10.5 grams), marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia were seized by Deputy McCutcheon.  Allen was arrested for Dealing in Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Marijuana, and the Illegal Possession of a Syringe.  Allen was transported to the Scott County Jail without incident, where she remains in custody. 

Sheriff Goodin again stressed the following... "drug dealers, make no mistake...Scott County Sheriff's Deputies are out all hours looking for criminals like you who seek to profit from others' misery...YOU will be discovered, arrested, and jailed".
