Scott County Sheriff's Deputies Remain Vigilant - Sheriff Praises Deputies and Staff for Continuous Effort
Scott County-Arrests continue to be made by Scott County Sheriff's Deputies as the push continues in the quest to make Scott County the safest place to live in America. Sheriff Goodin praised all personnel for their efforts..."the hard work and dedication of the deputies and staff of the Scott County Sheriffs' Office is the "hammer striking the nail" when it comes to making our county safer...as your Sheriff, I want to convey to you my guarantee that if you need us, we will be there today, yesterday, and tomorrow". The following arrest were made recently;
On May 23rd Tyler Davidson, 23 of Osgood, IN was arrested on Warrants for Failure to Comply on the Charge of Possession of Methamphetamine and for Escape-Flees from Lawful Detention.
On May 25th, Travis Lee, 45 of Salem, IN was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Methamphetamine-prior, Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
On May 26th, Seth Sullivan, 21 of Charlestown, IN was arrested on a Warrant for Forgery with Intent to Defraud and Theft less than $750.00.
The following arrests were made on May 27th;
Kenton Hooper, 28 of Chicago, IL was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Handgun without a Permit.
Nicholas Curtsinger, 33 of Austin, IN was arrested on a Warrant for Neglect of a Dependent - Child support.
The following arrests were made on May 30th;
Scott Stidham, 32 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested for Domestic Battery Committed in the Presence of a Child less than 16 and Neglect of a Dependent.
Rodney Hall, 44 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested on an Out of County Warrant.
NOTE: Not only are Deputies arresting the offenders on the street, our Deputy Jailers are offering services and classes to our inmates. These services and classes provide a path for our inmates to get clean while simultaneously receiving much needed job skills training, their high school equivalency diploma, substance abuse treatment, spiritual involvement with numerous church groups and association with peer support groups such as Thrive.
