Scott County Sheriff's Deputies Remain Vigilant - More Arrest Made after Poor Choices by Offenders

Scott County-Arrests continue to be made by Scott County Sheriff's Deputies as the push continues in the quest to make Scott County the safest place to live in America.

 

On May 10th, the following arrests were made by Deputies;

Teri Johnson, 40 of Madison, IN was arrested on Operating while Intoxicated and Operating While Intoxicated w/ BAC of 0.15 or more.

Cheyenne Taylor, 25 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested on a warrant for Reckless Homicide, False Informing and Reckless Driving.

On May 11th Timothy Allen, 42 of Austin, IN was arrested on a warrant for Public Intoxication.

On May 15th, the following arrests were made by Deputies;

Mark Winchester, 25 of Lexington, IN was arrested on Multiple warrants for Escape - Flees from Lawful Detention (2 counts) and Possession of Methamphetamine.

Steven Rowe of Fairdale, KY was arrested for Domestic Battery, Intimidation, Resisting Law Enforcement, Battery by Bodily Waste to a Public Safety Official, Intimidation, and Disorderly Conduct.

Joshua Coomer, 35 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement - Uses Vehicle or Draws or Uses a Deadly Weapon.

On May 16th, the following arrests were made by Deputies;

Devin Coomer, 29 of Salem, IN was arrested on a Warrant for Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug - At Least 5 / LT 10 Grams.

Patricia Nasby, 50 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested on a Warrant for Intimidation and Resisting Law Enforcement.

On May 20th Mason Steinkamp, 58 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested on a Warrant for DOC time.

On May 23rd, the following arrests were made by Deputies;

Tonya Lee, 50 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested on a Warrant for Dealing in Methamphetamine At Least 1 Gram LT 5 Grams (3 counts).

Robert Campbell, 46 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender-Prior and Cruelty to an Animal.

On May 24th Richard Smith, 51 of Austin, IN was arrested for Driving While Suspended, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, and an Out of County Warrant.

On May 25th Travis Neace, 50 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested for Battery (Victim is a Public Safety Official), Intimidation, Intimidation (Deadly Weapon - Judge, Bailiff, Prosecuting Attorney), Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Battery, and Resisting Law Enforcement.

NOTE:  Not only are Deputies arresting the offenders on the street, our Deputy Jailers are offering services and classes to our inmates.  These services and classes provide a path for our inmates to get clean while simultaneously receiving much needed job skills training, their high school equivalency diploma, substance abuse treatment, spiritual involvement with numerous church groups and association with peer support groups such as Thrive.
