Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 156 Members Gather to Honor

FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE 156 MEMBERS GATHER IN SCOTTSBURG TO HONOR THOSE WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE

Scott-Members of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 156 gathered in Scottsburg in recognition of National Police Week and to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community and country.  A wreath was placed at the memorial monument located at the corner of Wardell and First Street by FOP Lodge 156 President Marvin Richey, who has served as president of the local FOP lodge for the past 34 years. Gathered at the monument during the annual placement of the wreath with president Richey was Scott County Sheriff Jerry Goodin, State FOP Lodge Vice President Chief Deputy Toby Deaton, Major Joe Guarneri, Indiana State Police Sergeant Tracy Spencer, Master Trooper Detective Matt Busick, FOP Lodge 156 Secretary Kelli Barger and Scott County Commissioner John Lizenby.
