Scott County Sheriff's Deputies Remain Vigilant - More Arrest Made after Poor Choices by Offenders

Scott County-Arrests continue to be made by Scott County Sheriff's Deputies as the push continues in the quest to make Scott County the safest place to live in America.

The following arrests were made on April 22nd;

Corey Barger, 31 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested by Deputies for a Writ of Attachment.

Sally Stepp, 48 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested by Deputies for Possession of Methamphetamine and Escape.

The following arrests were made on April 23rd;

Scott Thomas, 53 of Louisville, KY was arrested by Deputies for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Public Intoxication, and Theft.

Justine Veliz, 42 of Salem, IN was arrested by Deputies for Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated - Endangerment, Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated with a Prior Offense, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a .08 or more BAC.

Jody Stidham, 52 of Austin, IN was arrested by Deputies for Dealing in Methamphetamine.

The following arrests were made on April 24th;

Blake McIntosh, 19 of Austin, IN was arrested by Deputies for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Invasion of Privacy with a Prior Conviction.

Renee Collins, 23 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested by Deputies for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Invasion of Privacy, Escape-Flees from Lawful Detention, False Informing, and Identity Deception.

Norman Feltner, 48 of Austin, IN was arrested by Deputies for Possession of Marijuana and two (2) Out of County Warrants.

The following arrest were made on April 26th;

Victor Shellenbarger, 22 of South bend, IN was arrested by Deputies for Escape and Failure to Comply.

Tiffany Morris, 33 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested by Deputies for Invasion of Privacy and Public Intoxication.

James Kennedy, 44 of Underwood, IN was arrested by Deputies for Possession of Methamphetamine,  Possession of Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Operator Never Licensed.

The following arrest were made on April 27th;

Tyler Fields, 25 of Austin, IN was arrested by Deputies for Intimidation, Disorderly Conduct, and Escape - Failure to Return to Lawful Detention.

Deric Brandenburg, 32 of Austin, IN was arrested by Deputies for Escape - Flees from Lawful Detention and Failure to Comply.

NOTE:  Not only are Deputies arresting the offenders on the street, our Deputy Jailers are offering services and classes to our inmates.  These services and classes provide a path for our inmates to get clean while simultaneously receiving much needed job skills training, their high school equivalency diploma, substance abuse treatment, spiritual involvement with numerous church groups and association with peer support groups such as Thrive.
