Scott County Sheriff's Deputies Continue to Stay Busy - Arrest Warrants Executed Results in the Following Apprehensions

Scott County-Arrests continue to be made by Scott County Sheriff's Deputies as the push continues in the quest to make Scott County the safest place to live in America.

On April 3rd, Deputies made a traffic stop on Michael Collins, 30 of Lexington IN. After locating Methamphetamine, he was arrested for Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

The following warrant arrests including new charges were executed on April 4th;

Patrick Cozart, 31 of Scottsburg IN was arrested on a Warrant for Possession of Cocaine or Scheduled l or ll Narcotic Drug and Escape.

Charles Nealis, 33 of Austin, IN was arrested on a Warrant for Dealing in Methamphetamine and while making the arrest deputies located methamphetamine and other controlled substances resulting in new charges of Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

Alyssa Snipp, 31 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested on a warrant for Dealing in Methamphetamine and while making the arrest deputies located methamphetamine and other controlled substances resulting with new charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Child Abuse/Neglect, Possession of Scheduled l, ll, lll or lV Controlled Substance, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

NOTE:  Not only are Deputies arresting the offenders on the street, our Deputy Jailers are offering services and classes to our inmates.  These services and classes provide a path for our inmates to get clean while simultaneously receiving much needed job skills training, their high school equivalency diploma, substance abuse treatment, spiritual involvement with numerous church groups and association with peer support groups such as Thrive.
