Recent Arrests Made by the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott- On September 21, 2021, Charlestown Police Department contacted Scott County Sheriff's Office in reference to arresting Daniel Meeks, 22, of Charlestown.  Meeks had an outstanding warrant out of Scott County.  Deputy Bowling assisted with transporting Meeks to the Scott County Jail.

On September 21, 2021, Deputy Skylar Thompson and Chris Bowling responded to a domestic dispute in Austin.  Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Curtis Bearden, 51, of Austin and Jennifer Wagner, 42, of Austin.  Further investigation led to the arrest of both Bearden and Wagner for Domestic Battery and Disorderly Conduct.

On September 21, 2021, Michael Spaulding, 40, of Henryville was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Battery Committed with a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Recklessness-While Armed with a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Mischief, and Reckless Driving.

On September 22, First Sergeant Johhny Coomer arrested Richard Ray, 46, from Scottsburg at his residence. He was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear.
