Additional Arrests for the Scott County Sheriff's Office

 

Scott-On September 11, 2021, Sergeant Charlie Morgan made contact with an individual at U.S. Highway 31 and 256.  Male subject was identified as Robert Couch, age 29, of Austin.  Couch had an outstanding Out of County Warrant.  He was arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail.

On September 11, 2021, Sergeant Charlie Morgan and Deputy Zach Brown responded to a residence on a possible overdose.  Upon arrival, they made contact with Dawn Price, age 39, of Austin.  EMS responded and Price was evaluated and refused further treatment.  Further investigation led to the arrest of Price.  She was arrested for Possession of Cocaine or Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.  She was transported to the Scott County Jail.

On September 11, 2021, Sergeant Charlie Morgan initiated a traffic stop in Austin.  The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Daniel Abner, age 35, of Austin.  Further investigation led to the arrest of Abner for Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drugs, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Cocaine or Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug, and Possession of Paraphernalia.  Abner was transported to the Scott County Jail.

On September 17, 2021, Kyle Jaynes, age 29, of Vevay, Indiana had an outstanding Scott County warrant.  He was transported from Floyd County facility and booked into Scott County Jail.  Jaynes warrant is for Failure to Appear.

On September 18, 2021, Deputy Kacey Reschar responded to a call of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, he made contact with John Hurt, age 37, of Scottsburg.  Further investigation led to the arrest of Hurt for Operating while Intoxicated.  Hurt was transported to the Scott County Jail.
