Scott County Sheriff's Office Makes Multiple Arrests over Labor Day Weekend

 

Scott-On September 2, 2021, Deputy Josh Juliot was conducting sex offender registry checks.  Deputy Juliot went a residence in Lexington to check on sex offender Chad Earl, age 41, of Lexington.  Further investigation revealed, Earl was not in compliance and was arrested for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.  He was transported to the Scott County Jail.

On September 2, 2021, Jason Morrow, age 42, of Jeffersonville, had an outstanding arrest warrant for Dealing in Methamphetamine.  Morrow was in Clark County Jail and transported to the Scott County Jail.

On September 6, 2021, Deputy Kacey Reschar responded to an abandoned vehicle.  Upon arrival, he made contact with complainant who advised two individuals were observed walking away from the vehicle.  Deputy Reschar located Serena Keller, age 33 of Lexington and Corey Gates, age 44, of Lexington.  Further investigation, led to the arrest of both Keller and Gates.  Keller was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine or Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Dealing or Possession of a Lookalike Substance.  Gates was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Cocaine or Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug, and Dealing or Possession of a Lookalike Substance.  Both were transported to the Scott County Jail.

On September 6, 2021, Sergeant Charlie Morgan and Deputy Zach Brown responded to the Dollar General in Lexington on an unresponsive male.  Upon arrival, Sergeant Morgan and Deputy Brown made contact with David Parks, age 35, of Columbus, Indiana.  Scott County EMS evaluated and cleared Parks.  Further investigation led to Parks' arrest for Possession of Cocaine or Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug-At Least 10 Grams, Possession or Use of a Legend Drug, Dealing in Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Possession of Methamphetamine.  Parks was transported to the Scott County Jail.

On September 7, 2021, Deputy Zach Brown responded to a reckless driver on State Road 56 near State Road 203.  Upon arrival, Deputy Brown made contact with complainant who stated Nicholas Zollman, age 33, of Henryville, began following them, driving erratically, attempting to cause them to crash.  Further investigation led to the arrest of Zollman for Criminal Recklessness with a Motor Vehicle and Disorderly Conduct.  Zollman was transported to the Scott County Jail.
