Recent Arrests for the Scott County Sheriff's Office
Scott County-On June 8, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman met with a Jackson County Deputy in reference to the service of an outstanding arrest warrant. As a result Michael Chilton, 53, of Seymour, IN, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear if Charge was a Felony and incarcerated at the Scott County Jail.
On June 9, 2021, Deputy Chris Bowling, Corporal Charlie Morgan and Deputy Nathan Holland went to an address in rural Scott County in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant. Upon arrival Anthony Gross, 35, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Comply. Anthony Gross was also arrested for an additional charge of Unlawful Possession of a Syringe.
On June 10, 2021, Deputy William Morris and Corporal Charlie Morgan responded to an address in rural Scott County for a report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Kayla Davis, 30, of Charlestown, IN, for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine or a Schedule I or II Controlled Drug, Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Possession of Paraphernalia.
