Deputies Continue Their Sustained Effort for a Safer Scott County
Scott County-On June 4, 2021, Daniel Goetzinger, age 33, of Underwood, was arrested for Battery-Victim is a Public Safety Official, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Escape-Flees From Unlawful Detention.
On June 4, 2021, Deputy William Morris responded to Watertower Road for violation of a protective order. Deputy Morris made contact with Ima Pearson, 47, of Austin. Pearson was listed as the respondent in said Protective Order and was to be found in violation. Pearson was arrested for Invasion of Privacy and transported to the Scott County Jail.
On June 5, 2021, Deputy William Morris and Corporal Charlie Morgan made a traffic stop on Steven Sizemore, 28, of Salem. Further investigation led to Sizemore being arrested for Unlawful Possession of Syringe, Possession of Cocaine or Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
On June 5, 2021, Major Joe Guarneri arrested Destiny Hoffan, age 42, of Indianapolis on warrant service for Possession of Cocaine or Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug-Failure to Comply Warrant.
On June 5, 2021, Corporal JR Ward initiated a traffic stop in Scottsburg. Corporal Ward made contact with driver, Jordan Benefiel, 26, of Indianapolis. Further investigation resulted in Benefiel having an out of county warrant. He was transported to the Scott County Jail.
On June 6, 2021, Mary Kaufman, age 43, of Louisville Kentucky was arrested for an out of county warrant.
On June 7, 2021, Deputy Josh Juliot responded to a suspicious vehicle in a cemetery. Further investigation led to the arrest of Natalie Brewer, 38, of Madison and Matthew Hensley, 36, of Scottsburg for Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of a Syringe.
