Recent Arrests for the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On April 19, 2021, First Sergeant Keith Hartman and Corporal James Ward responded to rural Scott County for a medical emergency.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Robert Collins, 38, of Austin for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance.

On April 21, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer and Deputy Skylar Thompson went to a local business in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Amy Rainbolt, 34, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident and Operating a Vehicle Without Financial Responsibility.  Rainbolt received an additional charge of Unlawful Possession of a Syringe.

On April 21, 2021, Deputy John Hartman went to an address in rural Scott County in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Travis Pate, 29, of Austin was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to comply on the original charges of Dealing in a Schedule I, II or III Controlled Substance in, on or within 1,000 Foot of a School Property and Dealing in a Schedule I, II or III Controlled Substance in, on or within 1,000 Foot of a Public Park.

On April 22, 2021, Deputy John Hartman made arrangements with a deputy with the Clark County Sheriff's Office to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Shortly thereafter Deputy Hartman met with the deputy where Nathan Huff, 35, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to comply on the original charge of Domestic Battery with a Prior.
