Recent Arrests by the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On March 27, 2021, Corporal James Ward responded to a theft that had already occurred.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of three people for burglary and theft related charges.  Fisher Richart, 18, of Scottsburg was arrested for Burglary and Theft Over $750 but Less Than $50,000.  Jordan Ailes, 18, of Lexington was arrested for Theft Over $750 but Less Than $50,000. Kaleb Smith, 18, of Scottsburg was arrested for Burglary and Theft Over $750 but Less Than $50,000.

On March 27, 2021, First Sergeant Keith Hartman responded to a report of reckless driving in rural Scott County.  Shortly thereafter he located the alleged suspect vehicle.  Upon arrival an investigation was conducted by First Sergeant Keith Hartman, First Sergeant John Hartman and Deputy Zach Brown.  Once the investigation was complete Thomas Robertson, 61, of Henryville, IN, was arrested for Operating a Vehicle with a B.A.C. of 0.15 or More and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person.
