Recent Arrests by the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On March 23, 2021, Corporal James Ward and First Sergeant John Hartman responded to an address in rural Scott County for a disturbance.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of two people.  Micah Parish, 22, of Austin was arrested for Domestic Battery.  Travis Wiesman, 28, of Austin was arrested for Domestic Battery.

On March 23, 2021, First Sergeant Keith Hartman me with a Washington County Deputy for the service of an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Scotty Hemmingway, 44, of Salem, IN, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear.

On March 25, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman met with a Clark County Deputy for the service of an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Ashley Green, 31, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear.

On March 25, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman responded to an accident in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of James Donohue, 63, of Scottsburg for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Operating a Vehicle With a B.A.C. of 0.08or More and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.  First Sergeant Hartman was assisted by Corporal Johnney Coomer and Deputies Skylar Thompson, John Hammond and James Campbell.

On March 25, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer conducted an investigation in rural Scott County involving a motorcycle.  As a result of the investigation Michael Weston, 47, of Austin was arrested for Driving While Suspended Prior.
