Recent Arrests with the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County- On March 2, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer initiated a traffic stop in Scottsburg.  Corporal Coomer made contact with passenger, Victor Shellenbarger, age 21, of Scottsburg.  Further investigation revealed that Shellenbarger had an outstanding warrant.  Shellenbarger was arrested and charged with Warrant out of Scott Circuit Court, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Cocaine or Scheduled I or II Narcotic Drug.  He was transported to the Scott County Jail.            

 

 

On March 3, 2021, Deputy Zach Brown responded to a disturbance.  Upon arrival, he made contact with a Cory Christensen, age 36, of Scottsburg.  Further investigation revealed, Christensen had an outstanding out of county warrant for his arrest.  Christensen was arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail.
