Recent Arrests by the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On February 6, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman observed a vehicle off in a ditch in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Destiny Carlisle, 23, of Madison, IN, for Operating While Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Operating with a B.A.C. of .08 or More. 

 

On February 6, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman served an outstanding arrest warrant at the Scott County Sheriff's Office.  Anna Wilson, 27, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Domestic Battery Committed in the Presence of a Chile Less Than 16 Years Old. 

On February 7, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman conducted a traffic stop in Austin.  An investigation led to the arrest of Tommie Akers, 44, of Austin for Driving While Suspended Prior. 

 

On February 7, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman responded to rural Scott County for a disturbance call.  An investigation led to the arrest of William Skaggs, 69, of Lexington, IN, for an active arrest warrant out of Lee County Florida.  After confirming the arrest warrant and extradition William Skaggs was incarcerated at the Scott County Jail.  Shortly thereafter Lee County advised that they would not extradite Mr. Skaggs and requested his release.  Mr. Skaggs was released from the Scott County Jail.
