New Year Equals New Arrests
Scott County-On January 14, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman went to a local business in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant. Upon arrival Michael Bounds, 25, of Martinsville, IN, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Escape, Failure to Return to Lawful Detention.
On January 14, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer responded to rural Scott County for a suspicious person. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Alicia Bailey, 31, of Austin for Public Intoxication, Resisting Law Enforcement, Criminal Mischief, Battery by Bodily Waste Placed on a Public Safety Official and Disorderly Conduct. Corporal Coomer was also assisted by officers with the Austin Police Department.
On January 14, 2021, Deputy Skylar Thompson conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg. An investigation led to the arrest of five people on drug related charges. Larry Huff, 45 of Austin was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. Trenton Bowling, 18, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. Dusty Kallembach, 42, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. Danyelle Peacock, 27, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. Brandon Glover, 33, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
On January 14, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer and Deputy Skylar Thompson responded to an address in rural Scott County for a report of an overdose. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Katie Dones, 19, of Austin for Possession of Cocaine or a Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Visiting a Common Nuisance. Trenton Riley, 19, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Cocaine or a Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
