Recent Arrests by the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On January 10, 2021, First Sergeant John Hartman went to a local business in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Michael Hurt, 36, of Underwood, IN, was arrested on an out of county arrest warrant. 

 

On January 11, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer conducted a traffic stop in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Felipe Ignacio, 22, of Seymour, IN, for Operator Never Licensed. 

 

On January 11, 2021, Corporal Charlie Morgan, with the assistance of the Clark County Sheriff's Office was able to locate a wanted person.  Julie Smith, 62, of Austin was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Dealing in Methamphetamine At Least 10 Grams, Possession of Cocaine or a Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug At Least 5 Grams but Less Than 10 Grams, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Possession of Marijuana.
