Recent Arrest by the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On January 5, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg.  An investigation led to the arrest of Theodore Lewis, 45, of Henryville, IN, for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. 

 

On January 6, 2021, Corporal Johnney Coomer made contact with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and requested assistance with the service of an outstanding arrest warrant.  Shortly thereafter Corporal Coomer met with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office who had already made contact with the wanted person and transported him to the Jackson and Scott County line.  Corporal Coomer then served the outstanding arrest warrant placing Rodney Collins, 47, of Crothersville, IN, under arrest for the charges of two counts of Escape, Flees Lawful Detention.
