Recent Arrests by the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On December 18, 2020, Corporal James Ward responded to an accident in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Brandon Gatke, 24, of Madison, IN, for Operating While Intoxicated, Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury to a Public Official and Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon to a Judge, Bailiff or Prosecuting Attorney. 

 

On December 20, 2020, Corporal Charlie Morgan responded to an accident in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival and investigation led to the arrest of Christopher Strange, 52, of Salem, In, for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Prior and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person. 

 

On December 20, 2020, Corporal James Ward conducted a traffic stop in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of two people on drug related problems.  Derek Hall, 21, of Henryville, IN, for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.  Kelsey Dennis, 24, of Floyd Knobs, IN, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
