Recent Arrests by the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On December 16, 2020, First Sergeant John Hartman responded to rural Scott County on a tip of a wanted person being at a residence.  Upon arrival Brandon Gee, 35, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding out of county arrest warrant.  Brandon Gee also received an additional charge of Resisting Law Enforcement. 

 

On December 17, 2020, First Sergeant John Hartman responded to an address in rural Jefferson County on an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Amanda Clay, 37, of Deputy, In, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Escape, Flees Lawful Detention. 

 

On December 17, 2020, First Sergeant John Hartman went to a local business in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Kurt Heath, 26, of Lexington was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person. 

 

On December 17, 2020, First Sergeant John Hartman responded to an accident in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest Jonathan Smith, 28, of Scottsburg for Operator Never Licensed. 

 

On December 18, 2020, Deputy Skylar Thompson conducted a traffic stop in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Jonathan Randle, 31, of Austin for Possession of Marijuana.
