Traffic Stops by Scott County Deputies Lead to Arrests

 

Scott- On September 25, 2020, Deputy Zachary Brown initiated a traffic stop on US Highway 31.  Deputy Brown made contact with driver Heather Duncan, age 43, of Scottsburg, Indiana.  Duncan was arrested on the following charges POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE, POSSESSION MARIJUANA/HASH OIL/HASHISH OR SALVIA, LEGEND DRUG POSSESSION, OUT OF COUNTY WARRANT, OPERATOR NEVER LICENSED, and MAINTAINING A COMMON NUISANCE.  Duncan was transported to the Scott County Jail.

On September 25, 2020, Corporal JR Ward and Reserve Deputy Royce responded to a vehicle in a ditch.  Upon arrival, Corporal Ward and Reserve Deputy Royce made contact with driver, Mindy Misamore, age 48, of Scottsburg.  Further investigation led to the arrest of Misamore.  She was charged with OPERATING WHILE INTOXICATED and OPERATING VEHICLE WITH AN ACE OF 0.15 OR MORE.  Misamore was transported to the Scott County Jail.

On September 26, 2020, Corporal Charlie Morgan responded to the parking lot near Jay-C Foods grocery store in reference to suspicious activity.  Corporal Morgan made contact with driver, identified as Michael Bounds, age 24, of Martinsville, Indiana.  Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Bounds.  He was charged with POSSESSION METHAMPHETAMINE, POSSESSION MARIJUANA/HASH OIL/HASHISH OR SALVIA, MAINTAINING A COMMON NUISANCE, LEGEND DRUG POSSESSION, POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA, CARRYING HANDGUN WITHOUT PERMIT, and PUBLIC INTOXICATION.  Bounds was transported to the Scott County Jail.
