Deputies Continue Their Hard Work
Ten More Arrested
Scott County-On September 16, 2020, Deputy Josh Juliot responded to rural Scott County for a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Amanda Goodin, 38, of Scottsburg for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, two counts of Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession or use of Legend Drug, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Operator Never Licensed.
On September 17, 2020, First Sergeant Keith Hartman responded to an accident in Lexington. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Trina Barrett, 44, of Scottsburg for Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident and Operating While Intoxicated.
On September 18, 2020, Corporal Johnney Coomer and Deputy Skylar Thompson along with the Washington County Sheriff's Office served an outstanding arrest warrant. Matthew Prostler, 38, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Escape, Failure to Return to Lawful Detention. Matthew Prostler was remanded to the Scott County Jail.
On September 18, 2020, Corporal Johnney Coomer and Deputy James Campbell went to a residence in Austin for suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival and investigation led to the arrest of two people for drug related charges. Dwayne May, 46, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Criminal Trespassing. Kimberly Smith, 46, of Austin was arrested for Criminal Trespassing.
On September 19, 2020, Deputies Jessica Dickey and Tim Hall responded to the Bridgewater Cemetery for suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of two people for drug related charges. Lisa Spicer, 47, of Scottsburg was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Visiting a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia. Daryl Spicer, 56, of Scottsburg was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
On September 20, 2020, First Sergeant John Hartman checked a suspicious vehicle in rural Scott County. An investigation led to the arrest of two people for drug related charges. Bryan Cook, 25, of Ghent, KY, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Visiting a Common Nuisance, Possession of Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication. Brogan Vance, 24, Of North Vernon, IN, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Operating a Vehicle with a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance, Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Possession of Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication.
On September 20, 2020, First Sergeant John Hartman responded to rural Scott County for the report of a protective order violation. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Kimberly Robinson, 68, of Scottsburg for Invasion of Privacy.
