Scott County Deputies Make another Bust,
Seizing Fentanyl, Meth, Pills and Paraphernalia
Scott County-On September 7, 2020, Deputy Chris Bowling conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg. The stop led to Deputy Bowling locating approximately six grams of Methamphetamine, approximately half of a gram of Fentanyl, Five Controlled Substance Pills, several Syringes and Paraphernalia.
Jon Morgan, 33, of Scottsburg was arrested for Dealing in Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine at Least 10 but less than 28 Grams, Trafficking With an Inmate and Possession of Cocaine or a Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug at least 5 Grams but less than 10 Grams. Amber Napier, 39, of Louisville KY, was arrested for Dealing in Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine at least 10 Grams but less than 28 Grams, Trafficking With an Inmate and an out of county arrest warrant.
Sheriff Goodin continues to praise the efforts of his deputies. Saying "the word should be out on the streets by now, if you possess or deal drugs in Scott County, you will go to jail."
