The Scott County Sheriff's Office Continues Making Arrests

Scott County-On August 24, 2020, First Sergeant Keith Hartman and Deputy James Ward went to an address in rural Scott County in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Kristine Richie, 35, of Underwood, IN. was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Comply and received an additional charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Serous Felon.

On August 24, 2020, Deputies Skylar Thompson and Jessica Dickey and Corporal Johnney Coomer responded to Booe Road for suspicious circumstances.  They were assisted by the Austin Police.  Upon arrival an investigation began and eventually led to the arrest of a male for numerous charges.  Later in the evening hours Tony Hanner, 30, of Austin was arrested for Sexual Battery, Auto Theft, Theft Greater than $750 but less than $50,000, Residential Entry, Criminal Mischief Less than $750 and Intimidation using a Deadly Weapon.

On August 25, 2020, Deputy Chris Bowling conducted an investigation at the Scott County Security Center.  The investigation led to the arrest of Roger Cole, 24, of Austin for Invasion of Privacy.

On August 27, 2020, First Sergeant John Hartman served an outstanding arrest at the Scott County Jail.  Rihana Scull, 18, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear on the original charges of Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Possession of Paraphernalia.
