Recent Arrests by the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On August 8, 2020, Deputies Skylar Thompson and William Morris conducted a traffic stop in northern rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Mark Cole, 38, of Scottsburg for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Operating a Vehicle with an ACE of 0.15 or More.

On August 8, 2020, First Sergeant John Hartman and Deputy John Smith went to an address in Clark County Indiana with the assistance of the Clark County Sheriff's Office in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Chard Arbuckle, 47, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding Scott County arrest warrant for the following charges, Resisting Law Enforcement Using a Vehicle, Resisting Law Enforcement, Invasion of Privacy, Driving While Suspended Prior and Reckless Driving.

On August 9, 2020, Corporal Johnney Coomer and Deputies Skylar Thompson and Eric Balingit went to an address in southern rural Scott County in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Mitchell Keown, 33, of Lexington was arrested on an outstanding out of county arrest warrant for Battery.

On August 9, 2020, Corporal Johnney Coomer went to an address in northern rural Scott County in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Benjamin Coomer, 53, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Domestic Battery and Strangulation.
