Very Busy Holiday Weekend for Deputies
Scott County-On July 3, 2020, Corporal Kenton Makowsky met with a Jackson County Deputy in Crothersville, IN. where an active arrest warrant was able to be served. Kayla Marling, 27, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Possession of Paraphernalia. Kayla Marling was remanded to the Scott County Jail.
On July 4, 2020, Deputy James Ward responded to an altercation in front of the Sheriff's office. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Kelsey Brunofsky, 27, of Memphis, IN, for Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Possession of Cocaine or a Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug At Least 5 Grams but Less Than 10 Grams.
On July 4, 2020, Corporal Kenton Makowsky and Deputy Charlie Morgan responded to an address in northern rural Scott County for a disturbance. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Charles Rose, 48, of Austin for Disorderly Conduct.
On July 5, 2020, Deputy Charlie Morgan responded to a property damage accident in northern rural Scott County. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Zachary Rudolph, 27, of Lexington for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Operating a Vehicle with a BAC of .08 or More.
On July 5, 2020, Sgt. Keith Hartman and Deputies James Ward and Christopher Bowling responded to an address in rural Scott County for a disturbance. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Robert Campbell, 44, of Scottsburg for Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury to Another Person, Cruelty to an Animal, Striking or Interfering with a Service Animal/Injury or Death, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Intimidation and Criminal Trespass.
