Busy Memorial Day Weekend for Scott County Sheriff's Office

 

Scott-On May 22, 2020, Detective(s) Paul Clute, Troy Ford, and Jeff Topping served an outstanding arrest warrant on Christopher Tharp, age 34, of Blocher. Tharp was taken into custody and transported to the Scott County Jail. Tharp was arrested DOMESTIC BATTERY (PRIOR).

 

 

 

On May 25, 2020, Corporal Kenton Makowsky initiated a traffic stop in Scottsburg, Indiana. An investigation by Corporal Makowsky led to the arrest of two people for drug related charges. Christopher Helton, age 32, of Paris Crossing was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. Elizabeth Hardcastle, age 27, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.  

                                         

                           

On May 25, 2020, Corporal Johnney Coomer and Deputy Zach Brown were dispatched to the area of Thomastown Road and York Road on a traffic accident. Upon arrival, Corporal Coomer conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of Jacob Pedigo, age 21, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky for Operator Never Licensed, Criminal Recklessness and Neglect of a Dependent.
