 Scott County Sheriff's Office Makes Eleven Recent Arrests Making Scott County Safe

Scott County-On February 20, 2020, Detective Paul Clute served an outstanding arrest warrant at the Scott County Community Corrections Office.  Jamie Foster, 37, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Escape Flees from Lawful Detention.

On February 20, 2020, Deputies Christopher Bowling and Keith Hartman responded to rural Scott County for a suspicious vehicle.  An investigation led to the arrest of Harley Bursch, 41, of Scottsburg for an out of state arrest warrant.

On February 21, 2020, Deputies Johnney Coomer and Skylar Thompson went to an address on County Line Road in Underwood, In. in an attempt to serve an outstanding warrant.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of four people on multiple charges. 

Daniel Goetzinger, 32, of Underwood, In. was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear.  Daniel Goetzinger received additional charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Battery That Results in Bodily Injury to a Public Safety Official, Possession of Stolen Property and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. 

Tyler Jackson, 28, of Lexington was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon, Resisting Law Enforcement and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. 

Amber Napier, 38, of Scottsburg was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Resisting Law Enforcement and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. 

James Hendricks, 34, of Underwood, In. was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Battery that Results in Bodily Injury to a Public Safety Official, Possession of Stolen Property, False Informing and an outstanding arrest warrant out of Jackson and Jennings Counties. 

Deputies were also assisted by the Scottsburg Police Department, Indiana State Police, the Clark County Sheriff's Office and the Jeffersonville Police Department.

On February 21, 2020, Deputies Skylar Thompson and Johnney Coomer went to an address in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Crystal Bohall, 41, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Escape.

On February 21, 2020, Deputy Johnney Coomer went to an address in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Larry Hollin, 49, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear if Charge was a Felony.

On February 21, 2020, Deputy Skylar Thompson conducted a traffic stop in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of William Cummings, 48, of Austin for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia.

On February 22, 2020, Deputy Skylar Thompson responded to a vehicle in the ditch in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Michael Knotts, 46, of Grafton, W.V. for Operating a Vehicle Endangering a Person, Operating While intoxicated refusal and Operating While Intoxicated.

On February 23, 2020, Deputy Johnney Coomer conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg.  An investigation led to the arrest of Tara Hayes, 27, of Louisville, Ky. for an out of county warrant and additional charges of Unlawful possession of a Syringe, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance.
