SCOTT COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT CORRECTIONS OFFICER (Jailer) - PART TIME POSITION

POSITION: Part Time Corrections Officer (Jailer)

WORK SCHEDULE: Varies / 24 Hour Public Service Operation

QUALIFICATIONS: This position will primarily be responsible for monitoring inmates, transporting and searching inmates, including the possibility of strip searches. In addition, applicants must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with the ability to complete required training. A copy of the complete job description is available at the Auditor's office and may be obtained at the time of application. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED; have a valid Indiana driver's license; and be in good standing with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

APPLICATION PROCESS: Candidates can obtain a Scott County Government Application at the Scott County Auditor's office from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday beginning Monday January 20, 2020. Applications must be submitted to the Auditor's office no later than Friday January 31, 2020 by 4:30pm.
