Deputies Continue Making Arrests With Another Busy Weekend
Scott County-On November 22, 2019, Deputies John Hartman and John Smith and Reserve Deputies Cory Hulsizer and Todd Hooker with the Scott County Sheriff's Office went to a residence in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant. Upon arrival Deric Brandenburg, 30, of Lexington was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation.
On November 24, 2019, Deputies Keith Hartman and James Ward went to an address on Rodney Lane in rural Scott County in reference to a protective order violation. Upon arrival Patrick Tribbey, 28, of Scottsburg was arrested for Invasion of Privacy and Possession of a Legend Drug.
On November 24, 2019, Deputies John Smith and John Hartman and Reserve Deputy Cory Hulsizer went to an address in Scottsburg in an attempt to locate a suspect involved in an illegal drug transaction. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of three people. Lawrence Campbell, 45, of Austin was arrested for Visiting a Common Nuisance. Michael Combs, 42 of Scottsburg was arrested for Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Paraphernalia and Trafficking With an Inmate. Rolland Combs, 77, of Scottsburg was arrested for Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
On November 25, 2019, Deputy John Hartman and Reserve Deputy Cory Hulsizer attempted to speak with a male in Scottsburg that was believed to have an outstanding warrant. The male began running on foot as deputies gave chase. Shortly thereafter the male was apprehended and identified. Scott Paul, 29, of Madison was arrested for an out of county warrant and received additional charges of Resisting Law Enforcement (on foot) and Possession of Methamphetamine.
