Arrests Continue by Scott County Deputies

Scott County-On November 13, 2019, Deputy John Hartman with the Scott County Sheriff's Office worked with the Charlestown Police Department in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant on a male that was in Charlestown.  Shortly thereafter Norman Adams, 35, of Lexington was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe.  Norman Adams was transported to the Scott County Jail.

On November 15, 2019, Deputy James Ward conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg.  An investigation led to the arrest of Alex Engleking, 24, of Scottsburg for Driving While Suspended Prior.

On November 15, 2019, Deputy James Ward conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg.  An investigation led to the arrest of Melissa Williams, 35, of Underwood for Operating as a Habitual Traffic Violator.

On November 16, 2019, Deputy Kenton Makowsky conducted a traffic stop in Rural Scott County on US 31.  An investigation led to the arrest of Brandon Haven, 40, of Scottsburg for Operating as a Habitual Traffic Violator.

On November 17, 2019, Deputy Joe Baker conducted a stop and knock at an apartment on Bond Street in Austin.  An investigation led to the arrest of Charles Evans, 55, of Austin for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

On November 18, 2019, Deputy Kenton Makowsky checked a suspicious person at a local business in Scottsburg.  An investigation led to the arrest of Jordan Blythe, 25, of Austin for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe.
