Eight More Arrested over the Weekend by Deputies
Scott County-On October 26, 2019, Deputy Joe Baker with the Scott County Sheriff's Office observed what he believed to be a drug transaction taking place in the parking lot of a local business in Scottsburg. As Deputy Baked conducted an investigation it led to the arrest of two people. Kristen Hunt, 31, of Scottsburg was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine At Least Five Grams but Less Than Ten Grams and Unlawful Possession of a Syringe. Erica Moore, 25, of Scottsburg was arrested on an out of county warrant.
On October 26, 2019, Deputies Keith Hartman and John Smith responded to an address on Cutshall Road in reference to a battery that had occurred. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Matthew Binkley, 27, of Scottsburg for Battery and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
On October 27, 2019, Deputy John Smith and Reserve Deputies Cory Hulsizer and Bryon Bowers went to a business in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding warrant. Upon arrival Travis Walls, 39, of Lancaster, Kentucky was arrested on an out of county warrant.
On October 27, 2019, Reserve Deputies Cory Hulsizer and Bryon Bower responded to Goshen Road in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of two people. Jackie Law, 35, of Scottsburg was arrested for Public Intoxication. Leslie Howard, 31, of Scottsburg was arrested for Public Intoxication.
On October 27, 2019, Deputies James Ward and John Hartman were dispatched to an accident on State Road 203. An investigation led to the arrest of David Carver, 29, of Scottsburg for Operating While Intoxicated Counts I and II, Operating While Intoxicated with a Prior, Operating While Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
On October 27, 2019, Deputy John Hartman conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg. An investigation led to the arrest of Clyde Trew, 55, of Scottsburg for Operating as a Habitual Traffic Violator and Possession of Marijuana.
