Completed Criminal Investigations Result in Seven Arrests for the Scott County Sheriff's Office

Scott County-On October 9, 2019, Chief Deputy Toby Deaton with the Scott County Sheriff's Office executed an active arrest warrant at the Scott County Jail on Janice McCleary.  Janice McCleary, 55, of Scottsburg was arrested on a warrant for Battery by Bodily Waste after a criminal case was worked by deputies.

On October 9, 2019, Deputies Johnney Coomer and Kenton Makowsky went to an address on Strouse Road in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Keith Bixler, 32, of Scottsburg was arrested on a warrant for Criminal Trespass. The warrant was the result of a criminal case worked by deputies.

On October 10, 2019, while on routine patrol Deputy Johnney Coomer observed a female that was walking down the road that he believed to have an outstanding warrant.  Deputy Coomer stopped an identified the female and learned that she had two outstanding arrest warrants.  The female identified as Whitney Stacy, 25, of Scottsburg was arrested for the warrants for two counts of Failure to Comply.  Deputy Coomer was assisted by Deputy Kenton Makowsky.

On October 11, 2019, Deputies Kenton Makowsky and Johnney Coomer responded to a local business for a theft investigation.  After completing the investigation Tiffany Pate, 30, of Scottsburg was arrested for Theft Greater Than $750, less Than $50,000, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.  John Lizenby, 46, of Scottsburg was arrested for Theft Greater Than $750, less than $50,000.

On October 10, 2019, Deputy Johnney Coomer and Deputies Tim Hall and Jimmy Siles went to an address on Sweetheart Court in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Gavin Alexander, 18, of Scottsburg was arrested on a warrant for Child Molestation. This arrest warrant was the result of a state police investigation. Deputies assisted state police officers.

On October 10, 2019, Deputy Johnney Coomer and Deputies Tim Hall went to an address on Cherry Street in Lexington on an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival Damien Collins, 20, of Lexington was arrested on a warrant for three counts of Child Molestation.  This arrest warrant was the result of a state police investigation. Deputies assisted state police officers.
