Recent Arrests for the Scott County Sheriff’s Office

Scott County-On September 23, 2019, Deputies John Smith and Steve Bowers checked a suspicious vehicle behind a local business in Scottsburg.  A traffic stop was conducted and led to the arrest of Joseph Rady, 25 of Scottsburg for Driving While Suspended Prior. 

On September 26, 2019, Deputies John Smith and Keith Hartman with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office went to an address on Jack Morgan Road in an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant.  Upon arrival an investigation was conducted which led to the arrest of two people.  Ricky Williams, 53, of Scottsburg was arrested on a warrant for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.  He received additional charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Visiting a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.  Brenda Linscott, 41, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
