No Holiday Weekend for Deputies as Arrests Continue

Scott County-On August 30, 219, Deputy Zachary Brown and Lieutenant Shawn Mayer with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg. An investigation led to the arrest of Timothy Jefferies, 51, of Austin for Operating as a Habitual Traffic Violator.

On August 31, 2019, Deputies John Hartman and James Shelton with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office went to an address on Little York Road on an attempt to serve an outstanding arrest warrant. Upon arrival Brandon Allen, 30, of Scottsburg was arrested on a warrant for Operating While Intoxicated and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person.

On August 31, 2019, Deputies Darin Marshall and James Ward were dispatched to Polk Road for a suspicious person. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Christopher Bowman, 38, of Scottsburg for Residential Entry and Public Intoxication.

On September 2, 2019, Deputies Joe Baker and Christopher Bowling with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg. An investigation led to the arrest of two males for drug related charges. Roger Baker, 56, of Scottsburg for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia. Kevin Bowling, 52, of Scottsburg was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance, Visiting a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
