Busy Weekend for the Scott County Sheriff’s Office

(Zero Tolerance Continues)

 

Scott County-On June 28, 2019 Deputies Joe Baker and Phil Thomas with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office went to a local business in Scottsburg in an attempt to serve an outstanding warrant. Upon arrival Jacob Logsdon, 22, of Scottsburg was arrested on an out of county warrant.

On June 28, 2019 Deputy Joe Baker with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in Scottsburg. An investigation led to the arrest of a male on drug related charges. Kory Booker, 19, of Speedway, Indiana was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

On June 28, 2019 a deputy with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office went to an address on Terry Road for a possible overdose. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of a male for drug related charges. Christopher Gay, 35, of Austin was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe.

On June 29, 2019 Deputy Johnney Coomer with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office went to a gas station in Scottsburg for a medical problem. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of a male for drug related charges. Giovani Ruiz, 30, of South Bend Indiana was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.

On June 30, 2019 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Main Street on a vehicle accident. Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of a male for operating while intoxicated. Ryan Galloway, 34 of Columbus, Indiana was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated endangering a person and Operating with a BAC of .08 or more.
