Chasing our Goal of Making Scott County Safer

Scott County-On April 29, 2019 Captain Joe Guarneri spoke with a female identified as Tracy Carlson, 32 of Henryville. Tracy Carlson had an outstanding warrant for her arrest through Scott County for Auto Theft. Captain Guarneri arrested Tracy Carlson for the outstanding warrant.

On April 29, 2019 a deputy with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Dollar Store in Vienna for a suspicious circumstance. Upon arrival an investigation ensued which led to the arrest of two people. Deante Williams, 41, of Louisville was arrested for an out of county warrant. Justin Chitwood, 32, of Jeffersonville was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia.

On April 29, 2019 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in Lexington to attempt a warrant service. Upon arrival Kyle Hauge, 18, of Lexington was arrested on an outstanding Scott County Warrant for numerous counts of Fraud and Theft.

On April 29, 2019 a deputy with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office spoke with a male identified as Cody Deaton, 28, of Scottsburg. Cody Deaton had an outstanding warrant for his arrest through Scott County for two counts of Theft. The deputy arrested Cody Deaton for the outstanding warrants.

Sheriff Goodin stated “because we have been focusing our efforts on a zero tolerance drug policy, criminals who commit other crimes, should not think they are safe, as the overall crack down on crime in Scott County continues, as our goal for Scott County being the safest county in not only Indiana, but the whole United States continues”.
