The Hammer Continues to Fall as Six More Drug Related Arrests are Made by Deputies

 

 

Scott County-On April 5, 2019 Deputy Joe Baker with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office made contact with a male identified as Jonathan Bray at his residence in reference to an investigation. Once the investigation was complete Jonathan Bray, 30, of Scottsburg was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine.

On April 5, 2019 a Deputy with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a fight. Upon arrival he noticed a female in the store that he knew to have an outstanding warrant. At this time the deputy took the female who is identified as Laura King into custody. Laura King, 32, of Austin was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Dealing in Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of a Legend Drug. Deputies were assisted by the Scottsburg City Police Department.

On April 5, 2019 Deputy Joe Baker with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office continued an ongoing investigation in reference to the illegal sales of narcotics. As the investigation continued Luke Amick, 20, of Scottsburg was arrested for Dealing in Marijuana. Deputies also seized nearly $6000 dollars in US currency and a large amount of Marijuana.

On April 5, 2019 deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to the home of Donald Gay. Upon arrival Donald Gay, 53, of Scottsburg was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Possession of Marijuana and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

On April 5, 2019 Deputies with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office arrested Richard Romans, 57, of Scottsburg for an outstanding warrant for Dealing in Marijuana and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

On April 6, 2019 a deputy responded to an address on a dispute call. Upon arrival Kelly Elliott, 33, of Deputy In., was arrested for an outstanding Failure to Appear Warrant through Scott County. Kelly Elliott also had an outstanding warrant through Clark County and received an additional charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
