K-9 Carl has retired from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office. Carl is a Belgian Malinois and was assigned to K-9 handler, Sergeant JR Ward. Carl began his career at the Scott County Sheriff’s Office in August 2016. He was certified in areas of narcotics, aggression control/suspect apprehension, building searches, area searches, article searches, and tracking.

K-9 Carl will remain with his handler and enjoy retirement living with Sergeant Ward and family.
