On May 7, 2018, Scott County detectives charged a contracted kitchen employee of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office with Dealing Scheduled 1,2,3 Controlled Substance(s) and Trafficking with an Inmate. Detectives and jail administration were made aware of the criminal activity and a criminal investigation immediately ensued.

Sheriff Hughbanks has a zero tolerance for drug related offenses and holds the same standard to any criminal activity reported within the Scott County Sheriff’s Office and/or Scott County Detention Center.

Additionally, Sheriff Hughbanks would like to commend the hard work and diligence of the detectives and jail administration in this ongoing investigation.
