The Annual "Shop with the Sheriff" Event is still Accepting Donations...THANK YOU Scott County for your Generosity!

Scott County-On December 15th, the Scott County Sheriff "Shop with the Sheriff Christmas Event" will be held in Scott County at the Mid-America Science Park in Scottsburg.  This year's event will once again bring joy and love to children and their families in Scott County who need a little help.  Currently, support staff at the Sheriff's Office and their teammates at the Centra Credit Union have been diligently shopping locally for the children, wrapping the gifts, and storing them to be given out to the children the night of the event. For now, donation cans are still in place at local businesses for patrons to give, helping fund this year's event and future years to come.  The donations are much appreciated...remember, every penny received will go toward making a joyous Christmas for a child and family in Scott County.

On December 12th (Tuesday) from 3 pm - 8 pm, Chicago City Pizza, located at the southeast corner of Scottsburg's City Square, is donating all proceeds to the Shop with the Sheriff Event.  If you haven't eaten at the Chicago City Pizza in Scottsburg, you are missing out! Please join us on Tuesday for some outstanding food and even better camaraderie as members of the Scott County Sheriff's Office will be on hand to serve and visit with patrons.  A special, fresh-to-order menu will be available during this awesome event, so please, come out and join in on the fun.  We hope to see you all there!
