Show of Support for the Local "Shop with the Sheriff Event" is Appreciated!

Scott County-On 11-3-2023, another business, Amick Appliance and Rent to Own of Scottsburg, contacted the Sheriff's Office and contributed to the annual "Shop with the Sheriff" event.  The event, started several years ago by Sheriff Jerry Goodin, has grown every year since its inception, providing a joyous Christmas to children in the community who need a little help.  Several businesses have already contributed to the cause this year, and we at the Sheriff's Office are extremely grateful for their help.  Additionally, donation cans will be placed at several businesses in Scott County where citizens can contribute to the event.  Every penny collected goes toward clothes, toys, and essentials needed for the children.  We at the Scott County Sheriff's Office are blessed to be able to host this event for the community, where Scott County comes together to help our most precious resources.
