Scott County Sheriff's Office and Deputy Doughnut Welcomed the First Christian Church Youth Group to the Scott County Jail.

Scott County-On 8-3-2023, the First Christian Church (FCC) Youth Group paid a surprise visit to the Scott County Jail and Deputy Doughnut, with "tasty cookies" in tow. The group has spent this week volunteering their time assisting the community with projects, cleanups, or where help was needed.  Sheriff Goodin praised them for their sense of civic responsibility, something we all need a reminder of from time to time... "These young Scott Countians used their last week of summer break to help the community, giving back to others. I am personally inspired by them, and I hope this resonates with other citizens as well. Service to the community is something we all have a responsibility of...thank you FCC Youth Group from all of us at the Scott County Sheriff's Office...we are proud of you".
