Scott County Sheriff's Office is Proud to Recognize their Own - Going Above and Beyond in Service to Citizens of Scott County and Afar

Scott County-On June 17th, Scott County Sheriff's Office Jail Deputy, and Chief Automotive Mechanic (yes-he is a dual hat employee) Jeremy McIntosh joined up with fellow members of the Safe Harbor Christian Church of Memphis, Indiana for a trip to eastern Kentucky, an area ravaged by flooding less than one (1) year ago. Jail Deputy McIntosh and his church team worked tirelessly, providing much-needed support to the area including many construction details, meal deliveries, and further providing spiritual words of encouragement to all they were blessed to visit with.  The trip concluded on June 24th, with Jail Deputy McIntosh returning to duty at the Sheriff's Office on Monday, June 26th, ending the week of personal vacation time he utilized. Sheriff Goodin advised the following... "This is another example of the "service before self" life commitment that deputies of the Scott County Sheriff's Office display every day.  On behalf of the people of Scott County and the families of eastern Kentucky assisted by this group of gods servants, thank you!"
