Recent Arrests by the Scott County Sheriff's Office - On Land or in the Water!

Scott County- On 6-29-2023, Scott County Sheriff's Deputies were aggressively searching for wanted persons in Scott County when what started on land subsequently ended up in the water. Deputy Kacey Reschar made contact with Timothy Scott Stagnolia, 45, of Scottsburg, Indiana, who was wanted on a warrant issued by the Scott Circuit Court for Failure to Appear on a felony criminal charge. Upon making contact with Stagnolia, he attempted to elude arrest by running from Deputy Reschar, where he was ultimately captured in a water-filled creek bed. Assisting Deputy Reschar was Deputy Zach Brown and Lieutenant Charlie Morgan of the Scott County Sheriff's Office, the Scottsburg City Police, and the Clark County Emergency Management Office.

 The following arrests were also made by Scott County Sheriff's Deputies on June 28th:

Maria Sanchez, 40, of Louisville, Kentucky was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order.

  

Cheyanne J. Conner, 28, of Scottsburg, Indiana was arrested for Driving while Suspended - Prior Offense.

Robert E. Morrow, 34, of Madison, Indiana was arrested on a Warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine and a Warrant for Escape - Flees from Lawful Detention.
