On March 1, 2013, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash on Whitsitt Road near State Road 256. Upon Deputies arrival, we found Asdrubal Nease, the driver, inside of the car. Scott County EMS was also present at the scene and administered aid to Nease. He was transported to the Scott County Hospital for further treatment.

On March 2, 2013, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to 2501 East Crothersville Road where a theft had taken place. The homeowner returned to find that person unknown had gained entry into his barn. It was said that several items were taken, including: Rear Tine Tiller Serial # 135292-92102427, a Campbell-Hausfeld Air Compressor, a Circular Saw and some miscellaneous tools.

On March 3, 2013, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash on Plymouth Road near Lover’s Lane. Upon arrival, Deputies were able to speak with the driver of the car, Damon Huff. Huff was not injured and agreed to submit to a series of field sobriety tests. Huff was subsequently arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.

The Scott County Jail Staff transported 14 inmates to Circuit Court and 33 inmates to Superior Court since February 25th. There were 10 transports of inmates to various locations.
