Tiger Correctional Services is recognized as a national leader in Food and Commissary Services and Jail Management Systems. They have an immediate opening for a Kitchen Manager to oversee the kitchen operations for a correctional facility in Scottsburg, IN.
Responsibilities for Kitchen Manager:
- This position will assume all responsibilities for maintaining and overseeing the daily operation of an institutional kitchen including planning menus and food preparation.
- They will also be responsible for ordering food items and supplies, maintaining an accurate inventory, maintaining high sanitation standards related to the kitchen and equipment and overseeing other kitchen personnel.
Requirements:
- Qualified individuals will have previous experience working in a correctional facility.
- Experience in an institutional kitchen is preferred.
- Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Word & Excel programs
- The candidate must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
