Deputies Make Eleven Recent Arrests for Various Crimes

Scott County-On January 31, 2020, Deputy Skylar Thompson conducted a traffic stop in Austin.  An investigation led to the arrest of Brian Rice, 52, of Lexington for Possession of Cocaine or a Schedule I or II Narcotic Drug and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. 

 

On February 1, 2020, Deputies Christopher Bowling and Keith Hartman conducted a traffic stop in Austin.  An investigation led to the arrest of Allan Vest, 32 of Hanover, In. for Driving While Suspended Prior. 

 

On February 1, 2020, Deputy John Hartman responded to an accident in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Brittany Engle, 32, of Crothersville, In. for Leaving the Scene of an Accident. 

 

On February 3, 2020, Deputy John Hartman checked a male walking on south US 31.  An investigation led to the arrest of Adam Ingle, 40, of Scottsburg for an out of county warrant.  Adam Ingle received additional charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, False Informing, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Possession of a Schedule I, II, III or IV Controlled Substance and Possession or Use of a Legend Drug. 

 

On February 3, 2020, Deputy Zach Brown conducted a traffic stop in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Jonah Clark, 24, of French Lick, In. for Driving While Suspended Prior. 

 

On February 3, 2020, Deputy Johnney Coomer conducted a traffic stop in Austin.  An investigation led to the arrest of three people on drug related charges.  David Dotson, 55, of Austin was arrested for Driving While Suspended Prior, Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction.  Ima Pearson, 45, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction, Visiting a Common Nuisance and possession of Paraphernalia.  Melinda Mcvey, 49, of Austin was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction, Visiting a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia. 

              

 

On February 4, 2020, Deputies Johnney Coomer and Skylar Thompson were dispatched to a vehicle accident in rural Scott County.  An investigation led to the arrest of Mitchell Keown, 33, of Scottsburg for Public Intoxication. 

 

On February 5, 2020, Deputies Johnney Coomer and Skylar Thompson responded to a disturbance call in rural Scott County.  Upon arrival an investigation led to the arrest of Robert Knight, 46, of Scottsburg for Battery to a Public Official and Resisting Law Enforcement. 

 

On February 5, 2020, Deputy Skylar Thompson conducted a traffic stop in Austin.  An investigation led to the arrest of Trevor Zachary, 32, of Scottsburg for Driving While Suspended Prior.
